Despite the patchy weather, the club is still smashing out the miles / km’s…

Stiaan, Mike, Simon, Rob, Janice and Ben were in Wales for the Dragon Ride Sportive taking in either the 160 km, 225 km or 300 km routes in very wet conditions.

In slightly better weather conditions Dave, Karen, Richard and Amanda had a great day at The Tour de Vale Sportive on a route closer to the Chilterns.

Not to be outdone by recent club excursions to Mallorca; Chris, Colin and David took on their very own BCC312 enjoying brilliant weather and epic rides to Sal Colabra, Cap Formentor and various climbs around Port de Pollença.

James and Heather got away from cycling for a bit and competed in the Jurassic Coast run. James finished 2nd in the 58 km ultra run and Heather 1st in the 25 km run!

The Saturday morning club ride has had good attendance with riders enjoying coffee / tea and cake at the clubhouse.

The inclement weather has meant that on the odd occasion the early starters reverted back to the old ‘club house’ 😉
